Science Chats @Grassmarket: Researcher Workshop

Science Chats @ Grassmarket is back for another term and we are looking for more Edinburgh-based researchers to share their work. This researchers workshop is a chance for you to find out more about this project and put yourself forward as a speaker at one of the weekly Science Chats @ Grassmarket events.

Science Chats @ Grassmarket

Science Chats @ Grassmarket are weekly events at The Grassmarket Community project for community members. The Grassmarket Community Project is a project aimed at vulnerable adults, where regular classes aim to educate, inform and help members re-integrate into the community. InterSci host weekly Science Chats at The Grassmarket Community Project, an hour-long session covering a piece of science in the news and an informal discussion with a local scientist.

We are looking for active researchers who would like to share their work with an audience that is otherwise disconnected from the world of science. While many public engagement opportunities target adults and families already engaged with science, Science Chats @ Grassmarket gives you the chance to meet with a unique and enthusiastic group, with truly diverse background and scientific experience.

Your role is to open a discussion about your work that allows our members to explore an area of science they may know a lot or nothing about.
